The Luca Maroni’s wine guide opens a good 2017

News & Events

This year’s crop of annual wine guides is now upon us, and we are already bringing in a fine “harvest”:Luca Maroni’s Annuario dei Migliori Vini Italiani (Yearbook of Italy’s Best Wines) has awarded outstanding scores to a number of our wines.

The standout is Tauleto, with 93 points out of 99, which Maroni describes as “an extraordinarily reliable wine,” while the 91/99 score bestowed on other wines, such as Liano, Sangiovese Riserva, and Colle del Re Albana Passito, simply confirms the wide respect they enjoy. Enjoying similar status were MOMA Rosso and Yemula, each earning a 90/99.

These are impressive results, the reward of a commitment and dedication that we renew every day here at Umberto Cesari, and we are proud to share them with you.
