Our roots
Umberto Cesari Winery, founded in 1964, lies in the hills of Castel San Pietro Terme, in western Romagna. Our winemaking has always focused on our local native grapes, but over time we have added international varieties as well. Day by day, we have watched our vineyards grow, as has our awareness that our local growing area is our most important natural resource. That is the reason that we follow a philosophy that respects the earth but at the same time welcomes new challenges represented by sustainability and innovation. Because we know that the grape of tomorrow must be even better than that of today.
